Peatling EquiSpa hold an Open day on Sunday November 13th.
October 2005
Solly takes part in his first Show Jumping competition and comes 3rd
following his treatment at the Spa for 8 weeks, in June, July and August
for a fracture to the edge of his Pedal bone.
August 2005
Sue Buckley and Drysgoed Daydream come 3rd at the Euston Park FEI 3*
160km Endurance ride. They stop off for a spa for a few days to help
Daydream recover. Also dropping in was Catriona Moon and Nidah who came
5th.
May 2005
Unbelievable results with a broken Splint bone. You cannot even see
where it was broken and the vets question their own diagnosis.
March 2005
Our first full time patient, gets the All Clear from the vets following
treatment for a lesion in his superficial digital tendon. 'Since his original
injury was so severe, and he is so young, he is going to be turned out to live
again, before going back into his dressage and eventing career in October this
year'
January 2005
Peatling EquiSpa held its Opening evening on Friday 7th January. It was
attended by approximately 30 people from the local area. The evening appeared to
be successful, with Larissa giving a PowerPoint presentation on Spa Bath
Hydrotherapy. 2 horses were used for demonstration purposes and people were
allowed to clamber over the Spa to see it working.
There was only 1 small drama, when a young girl fainted at the site of one of
the pictures within the presentation. This was of a stallion that had been
injured and lost a lot of skin between the knee and fetlock. The horse had been
treated by spa in Australia rather than using a skin graft.
